Considering buying property in Nessebur Bulgaria? Then you may be waiting for quite a while because property in Nessebur is in short supply. Estate agents in Bulgaria rarely advertise properties in this town, as they rarely come up for sale. When a property does come up for sale, it’s sold within days. Nessebur is a small town situated north of Burgas, on an island connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land about four miles from Sunny Beach. It’s one of the most ancient towns in Europe, with a history dating back some 3,000 years, and has been linked with many ancient civilizations. It’s divided into two towns -the old and the new.
Most tourists visit the picturesque old town, strolling for hours through its cobbled streets, looking at the wide choice of local wares that are offered. They may visit the many churches and museums to capture something of Nessebur's rich and exotic past. The town is old and densely packed with cafes, restaurants, outdoor markets, and souvenir shops. A preservation order regulated by the Bulgarian government protects the old quarter as a living museum town, housing the remains of some 40 churches from different periods of history. Development within the town is limited and requires special permission from the government, hence, property in Nessebur Bulgaria is scarce. Vehicular access is restricted during most parts of the day.
In the old part of Nessebur Bulgaria, there is a small, very quiet beach – perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. There is also another beach in the new part of Nessebur, but this can become over-crowded with tourists in the peak season and finding space for sunbathing can be difficult. However, parents can feel safe for their children to swim at this beach with its gentle downward slope. Snorkeling here is excellent with an abundance of marine life to view. It's a wondrous place to visit, but if you're looking for property in Nessebur Bulgaria, you'll need a lot of time and patience.
Remember that old Nessebur is a peaceful, ancient town and everything closes down at around 11.30 p.m. Those who require entertainment would be better off staying in new Nessebur or Sunny Beach.
